Before you start

  • A booking page with at least one service clients can book.
  • For the website steps: a page where your site builder lets you paste HTML.

Step 1: Open the share window

The link, the QR code and the website embed all start in one window.

  1. In a wide window, select Share at the top of SkedEz.

  2. On a phone or a narrow window, open Account, then Share booking link.

Done when: the Booking link window opens.

Step 3: Design a QR code

A QR code takes clients from a sign, a card or a window to your booking page.

  1. Select Generate QR code.

  2. Pick the colors of the code and its background. Keep the code darker than the background, so phones can scan it.

  3. If you like, change the Dot pattern and the Corner style.

Done when: the preview shows the code you want.

Step 4: Download the QR code

Print it for your counter, your cards or your window.

  1. Scroll down to Download QR code and pick a size under PNG size.

  2. Select PNG image for screens and messages, or SVG vector for print.

Done when: the file is in your downloads.

Heads-up

The code holds your booking link. If you change that link later, on Pro or Teams, the old link and every printed code stop working.

Step 5: Create a website embed

An embed puts the booking page inside your own website.

  1. In the Booking link window, select Add to website, then New embed.

  2. Fill in Embed name, for example with the page it goes on.

  3. Leave Service and Team member on Let the visitor choose, or pick one, then select Create embed.

Done when: Installation code opens.

Step 6: Add the code to your website

The format decides how the booking page appears on your site.

  1. Pick a format: Inline embed shows the page inside yours, Popup widget opens it from a button, Floating button keeps a button on the screen, and Plain iframe needs no script.

  2. Select Copy code.

  3. Paste the code into your page's HTML where the booking should appear, then publish the page.

Done when: your website shows the booking page or its button.

Tip

To change a button's words later, edit Popup widget label or Floating button label in the embed: your site updates without new code.

Step 7: Check that it works

A test booking shows that the embed reaches your calendar.

  1. Open your website page in a private window and book a time through the embed.

  2. In SkedEz, open Add to website again: the embed counts the booking.

  3. Cancel the test in Appointments: open the booking, select its … menu, then Cancel appointment.

Done when: the booking showed in Appointments and the embed counted it.

Plan note

A canceled booking does not count toward the Free plan's 10 bookings a month.

If something looks different

  • The embed shows nothing on your website.

    Likely cause
The embed is off, or no service can be booked online.
    What to do
Turn on Active in the embed. Check that a service is Active, has Allow booking on and someone who offers it.
  • Your site builder removes the pasted code.

    Likely cause
Some builders strip scripts from pasted HTML.
    What to do
Use Plain iframe, or the builder's own HTML or embed block.
  • The embed opens in another language.

    Likely cause
An embed follows each visitor's browser language unless you set one.
    What to do
In the embed, set Language to the language you want.

FAQ

Sharing questions

Do clients need an app or an account to book from my link?

No. The link opens your booking page in any browser. Clients type their name, e-mail and phone, and book.

Can I put more than one embed on my website?

Yes. Each embed has its own code and counts its own bookings, so you can make one per page or one per service.

Does the embed show SkedEz branding?

Yes. The booking flow inside an embed shows SkedEz branding, whatever your plan.

Does my QR code change if I change its colors later?

The design changes, but the link inside does not, so a code you already printed keeps working.
