Before you start

  • The Google account whose calendar should hold your appointments.
  • A few minutes at a computer or phone signed in to that Google account.

Step 1: Open Integrations

Google Calendar and Google Meet sit together on one page.

  1. In a wide window, select Settings, then Integrations. On a phone or a narrow window, open Account, then Settings and Integrations.

  2. Find Calendar and video at the top.

Done when: the Google Calendar and Google Meet cards show.

Step 2: Connect Google Calendar

SkedEz writes new bookings, moves, confirmations and cancellations to Google.

  1. On the Google Calendar card, select Connect.

  2. Sign in to Google and allow access; you come back to Integrations.

  3. SkedEz adds a calendar named SkedEz there and never touches your main calendar.

Done when: the Google Calendar card shows Connected.

Heads-up

The sync goes one way: events you add in Google do not block your booking page, and appointments from before you connected reach Google only on their next move or confirmation.

Step 3: Check the connection

A quick check tells you whether SkedEz can still reach Google.

  1. On the Google Calendar card, select Manage, then Check connection.

  2. If Google refuses the connection, select Connect again.

Done when: Connection works shows.

Step 4: Turn on Google Meet links

Each new appointment gets its own Google Meet link.

  1. On the Google Meet card, select Enable. Without Google Calendar, the card reads Needs Google Calendar and offers Connect calendar instead.

  2. From then on, every new appointment gets a link, whatever the service.

  3. The link is in the Google Calendar event and in the calendar invite attached to SkedEz e-mails. Appointments you already have get one when they are next moved or confirmed.

Done when: the Google Meet card reads Enabled.

Step 5: Stop the sync

You can stop Meet links alone, or the whole connection.

  1. To stop only new Meet links, select Disable on the Google Meet card and confirm; links already sent keep working.

  2. To stop everything, select Manage on the Google Calendar card, then Disconnect, and confirm.

  3. Events already in Google stay there, and appointments you cancel later are not removed from it.

Done when: the Google Calendar card reads Not connected.

FAQ

Google Calendar and Meet questions

Can each team member connect their own Google account?

No. Team members cannot connect their own account: every appointment goes to the one account the owner or an admin connected.

Where do clients find the Google Meet link?

In the calendar invite attached to SkedEz e-mails, and in the Google Calendar event. The SkedEz app does not show it.

Does SkedEz change my main calendar in Google?

No. It writes only to the calendar named SkedEz that the connection adds, and you can hide or show it in Google like any other calendar.
